About OFP

In 1985, President Ronald Reagan proclaimed the month between Mother’s Day and Father’s Day as Family Reunion Month. Our Family Preserves (OFP) is a service that offers a no-stress family reunion planning approach designed to help busy people plan successful family reunions while documenting their ancestry any time of the year.

OFP provides well-designed family reunion planning services to assist families with professional, fun, and memorable experiences. Find your family, make and renew acquaintances, and keep the memories through researching your ancestry, planning reunions, and creating keepsakes!

Why OFP?

OFP grew out of family reunions that produced a love for family roots. The 1977 “Roots” mini-series based on the book by Alex Haley, was the catalyst that jump started strong interest in the genealogy hobby.

With the more recent popularity of television programs such as “Who Do You Think You Are?”, “Long Lost Lives”, and “Finding Family”, more people have become interested in researching their family’s beginnings using DNA to help determine connections.

Finding family is a good excuse to plan a reunion and strengthen connections. To build on this interest, OFP was developed to become that “go to” agent to help families find, make, and keep your memories.
