Marcia Smith-Woodard, Planning Consultant, has more than 35 years of experience planning and executing fun-filled, memorable reunions for small to large gatherings and more than 15 years of genealogy experience.
OFP helps clients in Northwest Indiana determine venues, lodging, attractions, dining and entertainment options for their reunions and special occasions. Our genealogy sessions help clients to learn about researching their family’s histories, collect information for their use at their reunions, and introduce them to the benefits of DNA testing for deeper family discoveries.
Oral or documented family histories may be assembled and published as family keepsake books. In addition to serving as published family histories, families may also choose to use their keepsakes as fundraisers for their reunions.
These services may be purchased together or in tiered packages and all services are available year round. A minimum of one year’s planning time is suggested for the best reunion results.

ANCESTRY

KEEPSAKES
Do you want to create a memory book to look back on and enjoy your family over and over again? You will be able to help design your book from contents to covers. Pictorials, giveaway items to commemorate the day, t-shirts, and other memorabilia will warm your heart long after the event has concluded.
MEMORIES
Need help to make memorable gatherings and keepsakes? Make memories for family, school, work, anniversaries, company/corporate milestones, etc. Meet with OFP for ideas to endear your special times.
OBITUARIES
Need help writing obituaries for newspaper publication? Do you need help creating the memorial or funeral service program? OFP can help you in your time of need or in advance preparation.
REUNIONS
In 1985, President Ronald Reagan proclaimed the month between Mother’s Day and Father’s Day as Family Reunion Month. Our Family Preserves (OFP) is a service that offers a no-stress family reunion planning approach designed to help busy people plan successful family reunions while documenting their ancestry any time of the year.
